Reviewer Select Terms of Use

Rules and guidelines for using the Reviewer Select website, platform, academy, and community.

The Terms of Use outlined below are applicable to the following:

  • The Reviewer Select Website
  • The Reviewer Select Peer Review Platform/System
  • The Reviewer Academy on ReviewerSelect
  • The Reviewer Select Community/Forum

These are collectively referred to as “ReviewerSelect,” We/Us/Our, “Services,” or “The Platform.”

You/Your/Yourself/Yourselves refers to users of ReviewerSelect.

Your usage of Reviewer Select and our services/features shall be governed by our Terms of Use.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use ReviewerSelect. By using the Platform and agreeing to these Terms of Use, you confirm to us that you are at least 18 years of age.

By using our Website, Platform, and Services, you accept these Terms in full, even when you use the Platform or Website without registering to create an account with us or being logged into your Reviewer Select account. You must ensure that all the information you supply to us is true and accurate. As a registered member, you can choose to close your account. Once you do so, you can no longer use our services.

You may

  • View/browse content from our Website and/or Platforms
  • Register for an account with our Website and/or Platforms

You must not download any material from our Website or save any such material to your computer, without express permission.

You must not edit or otherwise modify any material on our Website, without express permission.

You must not use the content or material from Reviewer Select for commercial purposes.

When using ReviewerSelect, you must not

  • Take any action that could harm, disable, overload, impair, or interfere with the proper functioning, availability, or accessibility of the Platform.
  • Use the Platform in any way that is illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or connected to any unlawful purpose or activity.
  • Upload, host, transmit, or distribute viruses, spyware, worms, Trojan horses, keystroke loggers, rootkits, or any other malicious or harmful software.
  • Conduct automated or systematic data collection activities (including scraping, mining, harvesting, or extraction) without our prior written consent.
  • Access, interact with, or monitor the Website using robots, spiders, crawlers, or other automated systems or technologies, unless expressly permitted by us.

Important note about AI-assisted peer review

Reviewer Select does not provide AI-generated peer reviews: Our platform is designed to support reviewers perform peer reviews effectively through AI-powered checks. These checks are designed to supplement human-led peer review by experts in your field.

Potential for errors: There may be errors in the analyses undertaken by AI systems.

We may revise these Terms as needed, and the revised Terms will apply to the use of our Website/Platforms from the date of publication of the revised Terms of Use on the Website/Platforms.
